Leadership Shakopee is a seven-session development program which gives emerging and existing leaders a backstage pass to our community. Its focus is to inform and inspire leaders and challenge them to make a difference through personal commitment and involvement!
During the seven sessions, the class participates in a series of educational and hands-on opportunities designed to inform and inspire leaders. Cohort members get a behind-the-scenes look at numerous companies in Shakopee including Imagine Print Solutions, Dem-Con, Canterbury Park, Valleyfair and more! Participants also have the opportunity to meet with elected officials, judges and the chief of police.
Program Objectives:
To engage participants in extensive discussion about critical impacts to our community
To provide participants with exclusive VIP access to area businesses and institutions
To increase the visibility of participants within both their workplaces and the community
To support participants in developing lasting relationships with other group members and program contributors
To assist participants with tangibly improving their leadership abilities
Tuition: $1250
Attendance each day session and graduation is MANDATORY to receive your Leadership Shakopee graduation certificate.
