TAP 2023

Downtown Shakopee will be hoppin’ once again September 9th with TAP 2023, our second annual beer tasting and innovation event in the Lewis Street parking lot. Brewers will be offering both their flagship beers along with limited edition innovative beers made just for TAP 2023.

Attendees will vote for their favorite beer using coins and the winning breweries will receive gift certificates from Grandstand. The event opens at Noon for VIP ticket holders, $55 per person, who get in an hour early to spend time talking to the brewers. General admission tickets are $45 per person from 1PM – 4PM. This event is rain or shine and there are no refunds.

Tickets for this event, hosted by the City of Shakopee in partnership with Shakopee Public Utilities and the Shakopee Chamber, include a special keepsake tasting glass and the opportunity to taste unique beers from more than 40 Minnesota breweries. This year some of the innovative businesses that have turned the region into one of the metro’s economic powerhouses will be featured including Steelhead Outdoors, which designs and manufactures high-tech modular gun safes, REMastered Sleep, which has developed the world’s first water bottle that fights snoring through tongue exercise, Otso Cycles, which makes versatile, performance-first bikes inspired by the spirit of the Northwoods, and Written Hugs Designs, which creates thoughtful and sensitive cards for difficult situations.

This year we will be featuring local singers and songwriters on the main stage. And a VERY special event this year will follow TAP2023 at 6PM. Chase & Ovation will perform their tribute to Prince at a free concert sponsored by the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce.
