Mission

The Shakopee Young Professionals program empowers young and new leaders to build relationships and develop professionally. As an extension of the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce’s commitment to economic development, the program is designed to encourage retention of our young professionals, attract young professionals to the area, and create future leaders.

Leadership Development February 26

Hear from Lea B. Olsen a sports broadcaster, entrepreneur, former division one athlete, and mother, and Executive Speaker. Lea has spent her life learning about the benefits and costs to winning. Her unique perspective on winning in sports, in business, and in life has given her a game plan on how to win with purpose and passion. Lea thrives on helping people find their wins while staying true to their values and beliefs.

Personal Development May 20

Focus on building healthy relationships, both professionally and personally. Hear from experts from Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women to learn about the key indicators of unhealthy relationships.
