This FREE in-person event will take place from 10:00a.m.- 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 12th at the Dakota County Western Service Center in Apple Valley (connected to the Galaxie Library).
OUR INVITATION: This is a hiring event for seasonal, part time, and/or permanent employment. We are inviting local employers to participate in the event to staff a recruiting table. Employers will have the opportunity to connect with attendees, share information, and collect resumes/applications, and conduct on-site interviews. Participating employers MUST:
- Hire a minimum age of 16. Employers hiring younger than 16 are also encouraged to participate.
- Offer a diverse, inclusive, and accessible environment for youth of all abilities.
- Must commit to participating the full duration of the event.
**NEW this year – Big Ideas will also be on-site to offer hands-on career exploration opportunities for job fair attendees to experience careers in skilled trades.**
